Comparison sites usually treat their data as the product. We think the analysis is the product and the data should be checkable — which means publishing it in a form you can download, verify and disagree with.
It also keeps us honest. A dataset with a stated method, a date and a change log is much harder to quietly fudge than a table buried in an article.

Verification status
18 of 18 savings rates have been read from the provider’s own published material. Anything else is labelled unverified on the page and in the CSV. We publish those figures rather than leaving gaps, but they are working estimates and should not decide anything.
